Ran 3 miles in the rain today. Was trying to get a Muse session in earlier after run but it just didn’t work out. Going to keep push to get sessions in close to the actual exercise event. I felt great after the quick run and I think would of had a great Muse session.

This one was ok. Happy with it for what it is.

Physical training seems to be a major key for me to help calm my mind. But it’s early in the game to make any definitive statements. After two years using Muse I will have a much better idea. 

All I want to do is just keep moving in the general right direction. I’m ok with having struggles and set backs along the way.

lol…. Tough one. At my kids tutor’s house and her husband came home and I’m sitting on his couch meditating and he’s talking to me….lol….. and of course I’m talking back to him it just does not make for a good meditation session.

I don’t consume much caffeine. Currently drinking a Kombucha which has a small amount of it. Maybe this plays a roll in lack of focus?

I found it hard to focus and turn off the internal dialogue. Also self conscious sitting in this parking spot.

Night sessions are now out performing day sessions…lol.

Poor sleep last night doesn’t help. Sometime it’s hard to whined down after a workout and a late meal.

Very easy to come back to the present moment after some distracting thoughts. Progress feels great!

Muse if you are reading this, perhaps change the app logic to calculate how many birds obtained per minute instead of just reporting, “You earned  at least two birds per minute…” 

In this session I earned over four birds per minute and it not any type of complex calculation to find that out. Just an observation…..

Tired after this (see previous post) run today and a shorter nights sleep and therefore a bit harder to focus/meditate.

Not a horrible session. At my current level of development it seems easier to quiet my mind on the exhale.

I haven’t run in two days, last run was Sunday, so far the second run in a row is easier. This run today was a bit harder.
